I discovered boxing when I joined the Ecuadorian Armed Forces in 1990 and I haven’t looked back. I won multiple championships as a boxer and kickboxer in Ecuador. I hung up my gloves as a professional in 2002 before arriving in the United Kingdom, the home of boxing. I have been coaching in many gyms across the city since then. I live and breathe boxing and combat sports.
FAQs
Bring boxing gloves, hand wraps (I can supply them if you don’t have a pair), a comfortable pair of athletic shoes, and the same clothes you would use at the gym. I don’t shy away from training in the cold.
No prior experience is necessary; all skill levels are welcome!
I am flexible. I am happy to train you in one of the many parks or gardens in London, at your home, or at one of the many boxing gyms I have relationships with across London.
I prefer to do 60 minute sessions. These usually encompass a 10-15 minute stretch and warm up, pad work and movement training, and a warm down.
Yes, I do sell packages of classes. Come experience a session with me, see if you like it, and we can talk!
Proper technique is very important for me. I see far too many trainers who are happy to let their clients aimlessly throw punches at pads. I want all my clients to learn proper technique, to use their full body, and to show real progression.
